Two Harbors High School Faced with a declining student population, the Lake Superior School District replaced an aging high school and an elementary school with a larger energy-efficient facility. The new school is a model of energy efficiency and indoor air quality, with a system that combines displacement ventilation with radiant floor heating. The building cost 21% less than the Minnesota average for schools, and saves about $50,000 a year in operating costs.
