VSP Vision Care
As a demonstration of its commitment to sustainability, VSP Vision Care sought to reduce its energy use by 20%, reduce its water use by 50% from baseline and divert 95% of its waste stream. The building in Rancho Cordova, Calif., houses 600 of the campus’ 1,750 employees. This initiative, which began in 2006, set in motion a culture that seeks to continuously improve the building’s energy performance and decrease its impact on the environment.
