An Energy Education
Twenhofel Middle School provides an education in sustainability both inside and outside the classroom. Students compete to conserve energy and lead tours of the school’s energy-efficient features. Teachers base science and math lessons on real-time data from the school’s solar photovoltaic, geothermal HVAC, rainwater catchment and daylighting systems.
