One way to reduce water use is by collecting condensate. The water can be reused for landscape irrigation, cooling tower makeup, toilet or urinal flushing and water features. Initial results from the authors’ research provide condensate collection potential for climate areas of the U.S., and estimated costs and payback for installing a collection system.
