Providing an innovative solution to accommodate the extreme weather conditions at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Dow Corning® Architectural Insulation Modules' thermal performance enabled extended use of vision glass to create an open and airy design. With the easily installed 2-inch-thick modules delivering R 50 thermal performance in spandrels placed every 10 feet, the overall design created a comfortable environment for students and staff – even with outside temperatures dropping to 45°F.
