The LiteMount solar system from Sunflare was created to enable solar panel installation on any metal roof type. The lightweight module seamlessly integrates with existing metal roof attachment systems. The system is less than 1 lb/ft2 installed, approximately ¼ the weight of most installed silicon framed modules. The panels have a wind load of 42 lb/ft2 and a snow load up to 33 lb/ft2. The product has bypass diodes at every cell, so shading doesn’t affect the product as much as most silicon panels that have a bypass diode for every string.
