Station 20’s 55-year-old fire station was in poor repair, cramped and—worst of all—no longer met emergency response operational requirements. In addition to meeting these requirements, the new, modern fire station is highly energy efficient. In 2016, its EUI was 34.15 kBtu/ft2·yr.
