The Hyper-Heating INVERTER™ (H2i®) R2-Series of variable refrigerant flow (VRF) zoning systems from Mitsubishi Electric can operate at up to 100 percent of its rated heating capacity at temperatures down to 0°F. This system offers simultaneous cooling and heating capability suited to service buildings in climates that require varied heating and cooling points, such as multifamily housing, educational and institutional buildings, office buildings, data centers and health care facilities. One outdoor unit can connect up to 48 indoor units and the two-pipe configuration and compact system components allow for convenient application to both historic retrofit and new building construction.
